This linoleum block print features an abstract design based on multiple turtle shell backs. It is hand printed in an olive-green blend of Caligo Safe Wash ink on Speedball printing paper. The printed image measures 8 × 6 inches on 12 × 9 inch paper.

Turtle shell patterns are unique and have inspired artists for centuries. I enjoyed combining a variety of these patterns into a single, original design and translating it into a hand-carved linoleum block.
