I am back home from the 2-month RV trip. We saw lots of inspiring places that may work into new artwork.

I usually can’t work on major art quilts during the travels because of a lack of a good design wall. However, this time I did work on a new piece called Take a Liken to a Lichen for entry into the new SAQA call - Fungus Among Us. I made all the individual sections in the RV on the Featherweight.

Now that I am home, I have put it all together. My question to you is Which way do you think should be up or the top? Please reply to this email and let me know. Quilting is yet to come.

I am pleased to announce that 2 of my quilts were accepted by juror Shelley Rothgeb into Art Quilts 31 - Constructed Softly. The Vision Gallery in Chandler hosts this annual show of fiber art. Dates of the exhibition are Nov. 14, 2026 - Jan. 9, 2027. Opening reception is Nov. 14 from 4-6pm. More info here.
